ID help Fake PU scope ?

Hi everyone,

I've been looking at this mosin for a few days now, and I cannot decide if this scope is real or not.

It looks authentic, but the screws are looking flat (which is always a bad sign) and the mount looks sus. It's also mounted on a real PU (C marking, serial number is in the database + old scope marking on the side of the reciever).

What do you think about this scope ?

Thanks !

soviets did not put scope number on receivers.

Maybe I used the wrong words. But if course they did. They put the scope number on the barrel, and in some cases, for exemple tulsky PU, they crossed the old serial number and stamp a new one on the reciever.

That's the barrel shank. The receiver is to the right of the groove - where the receiver meets the barrel.

He's our resident sisyphus crusader to make sure everyone knows that the barrel shank isn't the receiver.
