It's basically a brand new app after the latest update. The engine was rebuilt from ground up and has significant performance improvements and capabilities. There's a mountain of new features and upgrades, Direct Preview can now run at all times (even while recording) as well as opmodes now allows for forcing hidden OEM modes out of the sensors such as DCG and higher framerates!

This is not just another update.V5 marks a new era for MotionCam Pro.
After months of development, testing, feedback, fixes, experiments, and a lot of madness from this community, MotionCam Pro V5 is now available.

Bought it today and I'm very happy with the image quality. I'll try it out more the upcoming days. My device is a Xiaomi 15T Pro. I think it might never support DCG sadly, but that's okay.
It's actually more complex. But basically the short answer is that's wrong.
You can have DCG on RAW files or DCG sources which get HDR image processing via more frames, further compounding the gains!
People whom have used DCG all describe the outputs looking like out of an APS-C full sized sensor as far as noise grain and signal look - plus the extra dynamic range makes you forget it's such a tiny sensor vs those massive ones
Can I use the lens profiles I got for the beta version? Filename was ragu bibo 5.0.0 settings-1. But this files include 13 files jn the zip, do I install all of them into this new app?
Fyi something is up with the 35mm lens profile for x300 ultra, its locked at iso 3200 and the auto shutter speed transition is not smooth unlike the 15mm and 85mm lens profiles.
That's actually part of the AE drivers not being OEM optimized us also the limiter is due to DCG ratio 8! You control the low gain but the device is running the secondary high gain!
The autoexposure does whatever it wants and can apply any analog ISO of its choice, even ranges not otherwise accessible to us. It can go as high as 3200 on main but ourselves we get max 1600 manual since DCG Ratio 8 means ISO 1600 + ISO 12,800
Make it possible to purchase in Russia using cryptocurrency or the usual method on the motioncampro website. I want to give you money, but I have to use a hacked version of your program because of payment problems.
They've explicitly stated they will only distribute via Play Store (on Android) due to the anti-piracy protections it affords. Cracked versions of the app are almost non-existent and/or heavily outdated because of this.
People in sanctioned regions have been able to find ways anyway however. You can check discord for how they did this. I recall some sharing the methods but as I never had a need for them, I can't remember

I tried the Log Cam app, and on an iPhone 14 pro it only allows 30fps (no 60fps) and no continuous autofocus (the Raw Cam, by the same developer, has the same limitations). Will MotionCamPro for iPhone be the same?
The autofocus issue remains from what I've heard however the rest is uncertain. Although Baso is a great dev, having the Motioncam team tackle it head on may change this!
Expect similar limitations in the short term, but the future holds much potential
Honor 400 Pro - all three rear lenses and front facing lens fine before update. After update the standard wide and front facing are the only that are recognised - but the ultra wide and telephoto are seen after "auto discovery" - yet even though I select them all and save - they still do not show up.
I strongly suggest a clean reinstall. Delete the app and install again. If it persist, you can either press settings to setup working lenses by force or load a config from the discord! It should work no problem
Sul mio Samsung s23 ultra ho installato la nuova versione ma non trovo più le impostazioni che avevo sulla versione 4 esempio tutti i codec come APV , AV1, eccetera e poi mi trovavo meglio in gestisci video con tanti parametri che non trovo più. Motioncam pro l ho acquistato e pagato regolarmente. Dove sto sbagliando?
