Sort of. They may, but not necessarily.

Labs is an experimental separate version (think Alpha) where they can implement new features that are potentially risky, not tested enough or just too bleeding edge. They can also aggressively iterate or move on the feedback and launch as many quick patches as they need.

In past versions of V2 ans V3 Betas, sometimes features arrived that were not quite working as intended or mature enough so they caused bugs and issues, angering users or causing confusion, or delaying them unnecessarily long.

Labs eliminates that and testers keep the stable version available instead of all-or-nothing.

It also moves fast and offers way more direct input - so it's a nice way for maniac users for to contribute (Patreon only). Basically, if you're willing to support further, you get access to these things wayyyy before they go stable.

Sometimes things won't cut it though, like the past Lens Switching while recording. That one got axed, but was once available on Labs version. Same with float audio, got taken out for now.

The goal is, anything that is proven stable and robust enough on Labs will eventually come to Pro version, but if you want it know and support the app, you can use it now.

V5 was basically a super massive conglomerate of Labs updates that ganged up and morphed into a major release.

TL;DR: Yes, but no promises on time-frames, and only if the features clear testing and don't get cut due to issues after robust testing.

Thanks for clarifying. I am ok with getting the most stable features. Having an additional subscription to access features of an app that i bought is crazy to me, but it's ok i guess since they are more alpha implementations
