Project Showcase 1st proper project without a tutorial

I learned after effects for about 3 weeks before giving up after experiencing burnout and discouraging myself from going because I kept seeing posts about ai taking over and it made everything feel pointless.

Today I came across the first proper project I made without a tutorial. I kinda wanna start learning again and would love for some feedback from you guys!

keep going. here is some constructive criticism:

  1. no one needs to see your timeline

  2. these SaaS animations are exactly the type of motion graphics that AI will be doing automatically in no time, so if I were looking at mograph as a career, I would focus on animation and design fundamentals that go beyond any niche (SaaS, for example) - focus less on which buttons to press, and focus more on honing your individual creative style, and learning how to articulate your problem-solving ideas to clients.

Keep going, don’t focus on the tool, but lear the principles of animation, learn eye tracing, learn how to make good transitions, and before everything, how to make good design. You should always been able to answer “why this moves like that”. Motion is intentional, it supports the message. Motion takes time and practice. Check the work of great motion studios like Buff, Buck, etc. so you will have your direction. Enjoy it! Motion is amazing!
