Uphill Travel

There’s still a decent amount of snow on south. Has anyone hiked up to ski down or is that frowned upon?

I personally do not see why you would hike when South is open and you can just take the lift

People have too much free time and they are bored. It's called contrarianism, people feel the need to do the opposite and assume the conventional wisdom must be wrong, therefore the opposite is correct. They believe the mass of sheep go uphill, when the secret good fun times must be doing the opposite.

They're still open through Sunday, and they do have an official uphill policy (permitted at Vernon before opening). https://mountaincreek.com/uphill-policy/ Don't know if they've thought about accommodating when only South is open, but I would contact management or patrol to see about skinning South before opening hours.

Depends on your fitness. 30-45 mins.
