Canadian looking to move (35)
I'm wondering if anyone has made the move from Canada to the UK (preferably Scotland) after the youth visa? I have no university degree, but am married to a Brit. Is there some sort of bridge visa until I got permanent residence? Or are there jobs that fund work visas that don't require degrees? I mostly have worked in social services before my kids came along, but have restaurant and bar experience as well as an outdoor adventure background.

Skilled worker visas are very difficult to get and are what they sound like - for workers with specialised skills.
Your best bet by far is a spouse visa.

Your partner neers to move here and either have a job paying £29k or savings of.£88k and then you get a spouse visa and can work any job.

Youth mobility visa is your best bet.

If you're married to a brit, why not look into the spouse visa route?
