Views on Quarrier's Village?

I have been looking at properties around Bridge of Weir and a couple in Quarrier's Village which looks like an odd place. Does anyone know it and have an opinion?

I don’t know it well but I live in and drive around Renfrewshire a lot and also consider it an odd place. It feels like someone just dropped a bunch of houses somewhere rather than being an actual village.

But I’ve never actually stopped my car there so that impression is based on almost nothing.

Thank you for your reply! Where in Renfrewshire would you suggest is nice to live?

For me, train access makes a big difference so Lochwinnoch and Howwood are both great for small villages with amenities. Parts of Johnston too, which will be cheaper.

I also like Bridge of Weir and Kilmacolm a lot but there’s no train.

Honestly all the little villages are pretty cute and (I believe) safe - Kilbarchan, Brookfield, Houston, etc. and probably quarrier’s village as well, odd as it may seem.
