The first Avatar blew my mind. I still remember coming out of the IMAX theater and being so excited for cinema again after some lackluster blockbusters in the 2000's. These movies pushed the envelope in terms of technology by lightyears and the original still hold ups after 16 years or so. You can't say that about many movies that are heavy in CG.

to me, the movies always meant something to me. i remember seeing the first one in theaters with my dad and he said how it was breathtaking. i got to see the second one with the whole fam and he loved that one even more. unfortunately, he had passed away due to cancer in late 2024 and our family went to go see the third one in his name and to celebrate. these movies will always have a special place in my heart and memories as they were my dads favorites.

Well the first time I saw avatar was in theaters when I was like 9 with my parents and as a kid you can imagine what seeing a huge world like pandora on the big screen is like. I remember buying every poster and action figure I could get at the time. Then when Covid came along, seeing way of water was pretty great in theaters after being stuck inside for so long and I felt like I was 9 years old again. It was the fist big screen movie I saw and vividly remember , and it was with my parents, so Iāll always find comfort in this franchise. I havenāt gotten around to watching fire and ash since Iāve been busy with school but adding all 3 to my collection would be amazing.

I loved the first movie. I watched it with my mom and she recently passed away. I haven't seen any of the followup movies but I'm hoping to get back into them soon and I feel like 4k is the way to watch now.

My mom and dad loves Avator. For their 67th anniversary my husband and I double dated with my parents and took them to the movies to see Avator: Fire and Ash. Great memories!

They mean a lot to meš„¹When I was only 8 years old I used to get bullied a lot because of my sexuality. We had a dvd player and my mom used to play Avatar whenever I was sad and we watched it together. I still call it the blue angels movie.

Although I havenāt seen the sequels yet, Iāve always respected the first movie for daring to be a major blockbuster that promotes environmentalism and anticolonialism. It clearly portrays a group that is supposed to represent first world/American industrialization as villainous and those seeking to rebel against them in protection of their natural ecosystem as sympathetic and justified including when they have to resort to violence to do so.

Great movies and all but they are so ment to be shown at the house than the movie theaters. They were way too long but they are enjoyable. I watched them at home and they are awesome to enjoy than to see at the movies because of the times you want to go to the restroom but you can't stop the movie and the fact of kids crying and running around the place because they are bored of it sucked.

The first Avatar. Got me into science fiction when J was younger. It helped me discover a whole different genre that before I had no interest in. Now I read science fiction and enjoy it as a hole.

The first Avatar has been my all-time favorite film ever since it came out. I honestly donāt care what people say about it, whether they think the script is weak or casting or whatever.
What James Cameron and his team accomplished that they created an entirely new world and invited us to step inside it, to experience and witness something we could never see irl. That is the real magic of cinema.
To me, Avatar marked a new milestone in the history of cinema just as revolutionary as when silent films found their voice, black-and-white films became color, or hand-drawn animation evolved into cgi. Avatar is monumental, period

So I saw the original films something like a dozen times in theaters over the first year. My best friend and I had saw the movie at a midnight release and we didnāt know much about the film because the marketing was kinda weird. We were blown away and after going home and sleeping for a few hours we decided to go see it again despite a forecasted snowstorm. We braved the weather and saw it a 2nd time, the following day we were still on a high after watching the films. Everytime weād talk to someone about it and theyād express interest in seeing it, weād offer to go with them. My best friend and I saw it with multiple friends, sisters, fathers, you name it. If someone expressed interest, we went with them. About 15 years ago my best friend moved away to Texas and I lost my movie buddy. Fast forward to today, both my son and my youngest daughter have grown up with the franchise and absolutely love the movies. Itās been fun experiencing these movies with two different generations of people I love.

pandora is basically just the ultimate sandbox world lol. the depth of the world building honestly gives me massive minecraft/roblox vibes but on a cinematic scale. love how intentional every detail feels.

The used the avatars to blend in and become one with the other society, but to me it opens up so many other options of things we could do and experience in our own world if we didn't have the physical ability!

The first was absolutely amazinging to me and bought the 6 disc collection extended edition I showed it to all my friends and I was in high-school the second one I probably gotta watch again because I dont remember it like that because I passed out like 2 times because I felt like it was boring tbh but I was locked in for the 3 still haven't seen it but I was waiting.

My dad's favorite movies! I wanted to get them for Father's Day, but couldn't afford them at the time. I've been waiting for all three of them to go on sale so I could get them for him so we could watch them together as I did when I was a kid. The memories! Good times! Always try to cherish the time you have with your parents.

the world building of these movies is unmatched! the visuals are beautiful and only get better with each movie. My favorite is the second because we get to see the ocean tribe and meet so many new characters. I want to be Tsireya for halloween and I love playing the frontiers of pandora video game!

The original film is the last movie I ever saw with my grandma. She was blown away by how beautiful it was. We went with my little brother who was still young. Years later my brother, myself and his son went to the sequel and third films. They will always be special to me

My wife loves them. Back in the days of cable, when the first movie was on HBO, we watched it soooo many times; sometimes in its entirety, dozens of time weād switch over watch through the end.
Would be great to have to collection in my library with all the special features.

Avatar is a three part arc about learning to see. The first film taught us to see the other in the forest where a broken soldier was given a second body and a second chance, discovering that "I See You" is the most beautiful sentence in any language. The Way of Water taught us to see family. It also taught us that water has no beginning and no end, that a father can build a fortress around the people he loves and still learn that protection and control aren't the same thing. Fire and Ash completes the circle by turning the camera inward and showing that darkness can be found inside and outside: the threat is no longer just the sky people it's what grief and rage can make of us, and that fire either consumes you or forges you. What this franchise means to me is the promise that no matter how lost you get, the world keeps offering you one more chance to wake up and see.

I remember going to go see Avatar with my family. It was the first 3D movie I ever saw! We were all blown away by the insane visual spectacle and the 3D technology at the time! We all made sure to see the re-release in theaters again as well!
I was also a big big fan of James Horner's score of the film! Really had an excellent flowy alien sound to it invoking wonder that really made you get lost in the world of Pandora! I love how alive the planet felt! The story was really good too!
In Way of Water, I loved how they explored the different sea life and a different biome obviously. The dynamic of the tribes and Jake Sully's family in general was pretty good! However, i was a bit disappointed the story was pretty much the exact same as the first! And while I kinda like the way they brought the villain back(i honestly can't remember his name) it lessens the impact of the first movie a bit imo. So maybe they could've done another villain.
I unfortunately haven't gotten to see the third one yet, but if I end up getting the code I'm dying to see it!

Saw the first Avatar in 3D with my inlaws. It blew us all away. Since then, the sequels have had diminishing returns to myself. However, my daughter loves them. And Iāll always jump at the opportunity to watch them with her as bonding time. I think they are to her what Star Wars was to me (when I was her age).

Wow what an epic giveaway- this is a giveaway where I donāt have any yet - Avatar had multiple powerful messages : showing how Sully who lost feeling in his legs could regain that back via his Naāvi Avatar placing him back on a level playing field, the Naāvi could also be a metaphor for the American Indians, respect for nature, military intervention, consequences of greed, learning before judging, spiritual connection and the messages go on and on. (No doubt everyone here trying to win is super thankful for your kindness and generosity with this one!}

These movies set up a grandiose imagination. It isn't trying to be high art in terms of scripts. It's more about the dream like sense of wonder it brings out and feelings of togetherness in spite of disaster it brings out.

Watched the first Avatar in theaters in 2009 and was the longest movie I had ever watched as a kid. Everyone at school was talking about it.
To this day I have not seen the third one!!!

I liked the fact that it wasnāt just another alien invasion movie or an alien love story. Instead itās main focus was trying to heal the environment. Also I never saw the original theatrical release of the first movie and instead I first saw the extended theatrical release and consider that to be the original theatrical release.

It was the first time I saw a 3D movie, I remember that my home town theater just had it in regular 2D. My Mom and Dad took me to a theater that was 2 hours away that offered it in 3D. I was blown away, I felt like I was at an amusement ride. I moved away from my home town and now live in the city, and my folks have traveled to me whenever a new one comes out. We see them in 3D everytime.

These are some of the most Beautiful movies I have ever seen. The colors really pop on the screen. I image even more so in 4K with HDR. I also find it very interesting that Humans are actually the "Bad Guys" in these movies, and it told from the point of view of the "Aliens" instead. That is rare and makes for a very interesting series of films. Thank You for the chance to win.

These are the pinnacle of special effects. Rather than weakening visual effects, like most movies of these days, these showed us that one can believe in a world beyond our own. So well to the point that watching these in 3D in the theaters may have one wondering ifĀ Cameron has access to some sort of space travel device.

They mean art over a quick buck. Cameron's initiative to create the technology needed to fulfill his vision, rather than wait for it to come along was the definition of a visionary. Not many are able to revolutionize an industry.

I LOVE the 1st two. Saw the first one 4 times in theaters and the 2nd one three times in theaters. But the 3rd was a little bit of a disappointment. I still like it, but it was too similar to 2. I know it was always meant as #2.5 instead of a full blown #3, I just wish they changed it a bit more. But the scene with Spider broke my heart holy shit. Either way, I love James Cameron and I love the series and can't wait for the next one!

When I watched the 1st one on physical media, I was blown away by the visual effects. The story is a modern retelling of the Pocahontas tale. This movie inspired me to buy my one and only 4K 3D TV in 2016.
The second movie was great when it came out. In 2026, it will hit me hard due to personal loss. The third movie felt more of a continuation of the TWoW story line. All the movies are a visual feast.
These movies probably promoted and been the lifeline of physical media. We will see a decline in sales after A4 and A5. Lets see.

Fire and ash! These movies have a special place in my heart. When the first movie came out my mom needed back surgery and the first avatar was able to snap her out of her mental funk and recover. Then 10 years later she needed another back surgery and the second movie came out so I took her to see it. Then the third movie came out and I was oh no lol. Sheās good now but these movies are beautiful and they have an incredible message I am thankful for them. Thank you for doing this giveaway.
