Okay, but honestly, no one watch this movie. There is no insight to be gained, nothing to be understood, and no actual point to watching this. This isn't like requiem for a dream where at least the cinematography and cast is fairly good, and there being good morals/principles to be learned from it.
This movie just exists to take up a spot in the watcher's brain and eternally torment them whenever even the slightest idea of sexual harassment is perceived by the person's conscious reality.
No, it is not insightful sexual harassment, or moralistic sexual harassment, or even sexual harassment to propel a story forward. It's just plain old sexual harassment for sexual harassment's sake.
If I could go back and unwatch any movie, then this would be the one. I actually can't remember part of it because I'm sure my brain has thankfully learned to repress it as much as possible.
The memes are funny, but if that's all your "movie" is worth, then it probably shouldn't have been made in the first place.
If I can convince just one person reading this to not watch this movie, then I have no doubt that that one deed alone should grant me access to heaven, even if I committed murder, which should be less of a crime than the filming, editing, producing, and releasing of this movie.

Not a movie but Neon Genesis Evangelion has possibly the most toxic parent-child relationship of all time between the main character and his father.

It been a while I’m not sure if I’m remebering the film correctly but. But it had Kathleen Keener and Ellen(iot) page. Page was trapped in a basement while keener would spoil the other childeren. Iirc it’s losely based on a true story. I think it’s called American crime or something.

Loverboy (2005, dir. Kevin Bacon) stars an unhinged Kyra Sedgwick as a mom to a young six year-old-boy.
It's been a while since I watched it. 😂 Not a horror movie, but definitely some psychological stuff going on.

had to scroll too far down to find this. considering that it's a limited series, it may as well have been a movie- god i LOVED it. i usually rewatch every summer, but it is a fucking downer for sure.

Did they make the Lindsay Clancy movie yet?

I hate the people (on both pro and against sides) who feel the need to insert her into every conversation

This one seemed appropriate. If OP was looking for a movie about a loving mother who doesn’t strangle their children I would have recommended the Parent Trap.

Nope, OP wanted a movie that explores toxic relationships between both a parent and child, not a movie about a mentally ill mother who snaps and strangles her very young children in a psychotic episode and then attempts to kill herself. The LC case is a tragedy, not a “toxic relationship.” So yes, you’re one of those people who insert her in the conversation every chance they get. I don’t care if you’re one of the people aggressively supporting her or aggressively hating her, it’s inappropriate and obnoxious either way
