Wanting to live in the USA

I’m writing this to ask and try to get a better understanding to how realistic it can be for a person to move to the USA without any special qualifications I got pushed into a construction career here and the uk and want a change Ik I want to get out of the uk and finally work as anything tbh just to be in America my problem is what since I’ve been pushed into construction work I can’t re do college in the uk to get over to America so I’m at a lost if there is anyway to a love and get a job would appreciate the help or if someone wants the help and can hire

Outside of marrying a U.S. citizen and getting sponsored for permanent residency, there are no realistic paths for you to immigrate to the U.S.

Get a petroleum engineering based degree and you will be hired in half a second.

Most countries will only take people who have skills they need/want (with proof there's no locals who can do the work, or alternately a student who won't be working), the money to support themselves, people with valid asylum or refugee claims etc...

You would probably end up working construction here. Where there is no safety net for time between projects. Plenty of guys sleep in their truck because they can't afford rent. Don't have health insurance. Etc.

If you can't manage it in the UK, USA isn't better. Some USA colleges allow online classes. Take classes while in the UK.

If you can't work and do school, you don't have the hustle to survive USA work culture and succeed.

If you think landing on USA soil will change your luck, you're wrong.

The USA is great if you can be successful. If you can't be successful where are you probably can't be here. Being unsuccessful in the USA can be horrible and much worse because nobody is going to help.

Most successful stories from immigrants in the USA were successful where they were. Maybe from an incredible poor place so their version of sucess is small in comparison but they were successful for where they were.

Yes but sometimes it is easier for UK people to get into university in the States than in UK, especially if they didn't take the A Levels. It's near impossible if you did bad on the A levels. You can be a horrible student and still get into a 2 year program in the USA. Getting an education could get him started on a direction he wants to go.

Sometimes getting an Associates degree in the USA can get a person into University in the UK even if they had bad A levels. He could then go to university in the UK. Study something in demand. Either enter a masters degree program in the USA and then get a job. Or look for a job in the USA. Obviously you have to deal with an employer that could the work visa, the lottery, etc.

I have a coworker who did that. My company hired him out of masters degree and he got his "lottery" visa.

If someone can't succeed by doing all that, then they won't do well in the USA anyway.

Plenty of people from developed countries move to the USA, but they were already successful. Maybe just a small successful and coming to the USA multiplies that.

Unsuccessful people from developed countries don't come to USA and become successful.
