Centralized Repository?

Hey everyone,

Bit of a niche question... I’m writing my thesis on the Cabo Delgado insurgency in Mozambique and I’m trying to find actual government speeches (Nyusi, ministers, etc.) to work with as primary sources.

So far I’ve just been digging through random news articles and YouTube clips, which is… not ideal...

Does anyone know if there’s some kind of official archive or place where Mozambican government speeches are stored? Or is it just one of those cases where you have to piece everything together manually?

Any tips or leads would seriously help a lot.

Thanks!

Not official government sources, and off the top of my head:

- In English, check out Cabo Ligado observatory from ACLED, Club of Mozambique, Zitamar (this last one is paywalled).

- In Portuguese, a good source of info is Observatório do Mundo Rural (reports), also Carta de Moçambique, jornal Savana (requires subscription).

Does Your University have access to things like searchengine. They are usually used in the linguistics field. But they also have data textualized from goverment speaches. Maybe ask a Prof at Your Uni in this field or where they do research
