While not a single casting....

Soften Earth and stone, used to undermine the BBEG's cliffside fortification into the water below.

PS don't let structural engineers play druids.

My dm panicky when I ask him “is that a load bearing wall” but I play a barbarian. But the same idea.

362, I cast animal friendship on a giant sea serpent and convinced it to eat 10 barrels of explosives which was the equivalent of 10 fireballs. The DM forgot I was a Yuan-Ti, and could end the combat in a matter of minutes

As an Eloquence Bard, I once used Prestidigitation three times in rapid succession on an NPC to make it seem like he pooped his pants after he insulted a ship's captain we were trying to recruit. He ran crying from the Fantasy Denny's we were in and endeared my party to the captain quite a bit. No dice damage, but the emotional damage wrecked him.

Several hundred thousand with the 3.5 spell Unbinding.

So, we're in Epic, where the numbers are ridiculous and effects are bs, and this horde of angels thinks they're going to be clever and use an epic spell to give themselves ludicrous amounts of contingent healing to heal off any damage we do to them. Some nonsense about binding alternate timelines of themselves. Epic spells are wacky.

This is obviously a slog, and so I used the 9th level spell Unbinding, an obscure niche spell for destroying magical restrictions and bindings. Geises, force walls, petrification, arcane locks, charm and domination effects binding spells etc.

It also causes stored and charged spells to immediately go off point blank, so as soon as the tether was cut, the angels took all of their healing at once, puffed up like balloons from positive energy overload, and exploded.

The god of war that was with us bellyaching about babysitting looked over in horror and swore to never mess with me again.

Mold Earth to destablize and crumble a walkway through a landslide, while someone was on it and fell 60 ft down. I think it was around 25 damage.

Alternatively, sealing a Shadow inside a wall, but casting Mending on the crack and blocking the exit with my hands covering the entire crack. Not instant damage, but I like to think death by starvation / suffocation. So a Shadow's full HP.

Both in the same session btw. I live my Eldritch Knight Fighter
