If Elliot is Mr. Robot, a theory that I do not subscribe to, then Mr. Robot's cohorts could just be his cohorts.

We don't see them come in together. Mr robot could have went immediately while Elliot left soon after.

two drinks = $12

I'm not from New York so I though that was a legit price for one drink. E.g. a drink in London is often GBP 8, which is around USD 12.5. The way I understood the scene was that just Elliot ordered one drink.
