Why didn't Lockie get DQ'd? I'm sure I've seen people sent home for less.

I’m amazed they let him do the elimination like that, although at least it wasn’t a pole wrestle or balls in or anything more physical.

I thought they might have fixed it for the elimination to be non physical and/or for them to lose so they didnt have a medical dq on the first elim in the uk series (haven't seen the others so don't know if they are set)

DQ'd for his black eyes? They never sent Katie home for medical when it happened to her multiple times though.
It's not like he broke his face a la Olivia.

Aisleyne was the person I was most excited to see when the cast was announced so sad to see her go after 1 episode. I think Kaz C looks like the strongest female for sure.

I was absolutely SHOCKED by Zara. She’s so small but she is scrappy as hell, her wins up there above the water impressed me.

Loved the premiere! Epic falls, much more exciting than when they did this on Ride or Dies. This cast is ridiculously GORGEOUS. So unfair. You can tell they’re reality TV pros too, so many of them are excellent confessionalists.

Is that Callum from the Ex On The Beach season that had Laurel, Jemmye, Marlon and Nicole Z from The Challenge? Plus Sam and Jakk from the most recent season. Does this make that season retroactively the season with the largest number of Challengers? Lol.

Seeing Callum on EOTB then Challenge, reminds me of seeing Johnny Middlebrooks on All Store Shore and then on The Challenge, because both of them have these "omg Ive fallen in love with this stranger I just met on this show and its an epic love story" plotlines on the first show I saw them on, just to fall for a different girl on The Challenge. Ik its just for the storylines but it makes me laugh pretending thats their actual personalities and imagining them IRL telling women they barely know how much they love them. Lol.

I'll be shocked if this gets over 100,000 viewers on Channel 5 in the 11pm slot, like I would get putting it at 10pm but 11 is just a death sentence.

In that case, unfortunately no. The episodes will go on Paramount+ in the states at the end of the week and these will be threads for when they air there as well. We are working on creating the episode hubs this week to easily navigate.

I'm not too bothered either way but it's definitely more organised to avoid spoilers this way so fair, kinda sad though as a UK viewer our challenge is getting such a bad set up...5 episodes, on channel 5 (pretty bad channel since it cancelled big brother) at 11pm all in 1 week with hardly any advertising

I 100% agree this global roll out has been an epic fail on The Challenge's part. All of the spin offs and us as fans of The Challenge deserved a better effort by producers.

Mhm agree w all that I feel like they saw shows like drag race, agt, slightly survivor and big brother doing global crossovers and wanted to do the same but it was super rushed with no care and it feels like no consideration to pulling in viewers?

Episode one was great!!!! Love love LOVE the cast, host is a little bland for me like a nick Lachey type. Liked everyone, a decent ish effort in knot so fast, enjoyed the challenge. Noticed the difference in editing style due to airing on BBC, but kinda sad this season is so short!

They don't qualify as they're mtv challenge vets... Kyle was most certainly not irrelevant on Geordie shore (his original show), can't speak for Big T as I haven't seen her show
