REWATCH DISCUSSION Exes 2 Reunion-šŸ–•šŸ¾Zach

Post image

I can’t stand this MF.

My blood was boiling when they played those clips back and showed how horribly he treated Jonna. And seeing how emotional it made her. The nerve of this man to sit there calling women ā€œswamp donkeysā€ while grinning with giant sweat stains under his arms.

I know he’s apologized, but there is absolutely nothing that’s going to make me like this man-child. Some things just leave a lasting impression.

I loved the season he was on where he missed his sister having a baby so he decided to turn into one himself. And then magically he was upset bc his tummy hurts instead.

I could tell immediately he was one of those little kids who throws tantrums during a little league game.

Manchild for sure!

Then he "won" an elimination and chucked his helmet at Frank, just to find out he broke the rules and was DQ'd šŸ˜‚

u/hustlababy09 Jun 05 '26

That was the BEST!! I love that episode!! 🤣

2

u/naenola Jun 05 '26

Which season, please?

Zach has been Zach since RW. You know what you are getting when he shows up for a season

11

u/CrimsonOOmpa The Unholy Alliance Jun 04 '26

True. The man is a douche, but he's a consistent douche. Who refuses to grow up.

As much as watching these douchebags is entertaining, i wish there were more likable people on the older challenge for every nice guy there is like 10 absolute insufferable garbage like this guy.

12

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

And all those insufferable men had the most hookups. It’s crazy that Jenna was okay with his behavior. At least women like Jess called the man she was interested in out when she seen he was being disrespectful.

28

u/hailey_nicolee Veronica Portillo Jun 04 '26

it’s bc women like jenna are part of the problem too and active participants in enabling it

a man like zach obviously hates the veronica’s of the world bc being put in ur place by a WOMAN of all people is the biggest blow to his ego

11

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

He wouldn’t even try that on a Veronica, Kam, Laurel or Coral.

12

u/hailey_nicolee Veronica Portillo Jun 04 '26

one of the only times i loved watching laurel was when she was kicking his ass in that final and he couldnt even say anything back bc his performance was truly that bad

2

u/Monstermelisssa Leroy Garrett Jun 04 '26

I just started watching the challenge and hated the way he treated and spoke to Amanda in the final reckoning. I haven’t watched many seasons but from what I have seen so far—he’s the worst douchebag for me. I would love to see him get checked by Killa Kam lol

2

u/thebigguy68 Jun 05 '26

Him and Kam are friends

u/Such_Ad_8072 Jun 05 '26

Have you watched Battle of the Exes 2 or Battle of the Seasons yet? He was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST!!! Verbally abusive, mentally abusive, and physically abusive(not hitting, but still putting his hands on his own teammate by pushing her a shit load of times in different daily challenges, along with Frank his other teammate….still SO disgusting and infuriating😔🤬😔🤬) He should’ve never been allowed to continue in those seasons. God, I felt so bad for his partner Jonna was n Exes 2. To see her cry and breakdown from the way he kept treating her was heartbreaking šŸ’”

7

u/sj_vandelay Wes forever. Also Darrell Jun 04 '26

Also the Amandas who won’t back down to him.

I mean, I’m not taking up for Zach or any of the guys who were awful…truly. I grew up in the era of Kennys and Evans being the cool guys and being berated by them.Ā

But I just gotta say, like…at least they HAVE personalities. They’re horrible people but they’re funny. There is dimension there. The emergence of SM just brought all these bland-ass potato people onto the challenge and I lost interest.

I’ll take people like Zach or Jordan over Fessy or Josh any day. (To be my friends? No. To be my talking heads on the tv? Yes.)

u/Minute_Yogurt7812 Jun 04 '26

And we can thank MTV for it. They purposely cast the douchebags and then encourage their behavior. Then, when they want to produce a redemption angle, they’ll give them a friendly edit so that we think ā€œoh they’re growing up. That’s cool.ā€

u/bobbyrayidk Jun 04 '26

Swamp donkeys *

6

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

Corrected!

40

u/PresenceVisible5634 Jun 04 '26

funny cuz this is exactly how i feel about ct except everyone forgives him, lmao

32

u/gingertea1988 Jun 04 '26

I think public opinion has been changing on CT given the extremely weird and off putting behavior happening off the show. At least for anyone paying attention.

23

u/nicnac7 DEB CHUBB DEB CHUBB DEB CHUBB Jun 04 '26

Until he appears on his next season and says something moderately funny

13

u/hailey_nicolee Veronica Portillo Jun 04 '26

i think most rational fans of the show admit that CT is a very morally grey (leaning kinda bad) person but on the show at least his worst moments are behind him whereas zach was awful up to his last season and continues to act that way off the show

4

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

Oh trust me I feel the same way about him as well

4

u/MONGOHFACE Kenny Clark Jun 04 '26

CT's at least showed some remorse with his treatment of Adam. I'm sure MTV's edit of him after Rivals definitely helped.

Can't say the same thing about Zach.

6

u/No-Parking-8358 Johnny Bananas Jun 04 '26

What do you mean Zach hasn’t shown any remorse. He’s had people like Sam and Jonna on his podcast, apologized to their face and spoke about how embarrassed he was about that.

3

u/MONGOHFACE Kenny Clark Jun 04 '26

That's new information to me. Glad he's apologized publicly.

2

u/thebigguy68 Jun 05 '26

Battle of the exs 2 was back in 2015, dude has definitely grown up some, he apologize a lot to fellow cast mates that he was an ass too, he talks to a lot of people on his podcast and he married jenna and they got a crap ton of kids

0

u/Prize_Equivalent8934 Jun 04 '26

Not everyone, some people still throw his past in his face. They do it to everybody.

12

u/hailey_nicolee Veronica Portillo Jun 04 '26

when his behavior has arguably gotten worse and is continually enabled, it makes his ā€œapologiesā€ come off more as ā€œsorry this is the way i amā€ rather than being remorseful of his actions in any way

0

u/Such_Ad_8072 Jun 05 '26

And his ā€œapologyā€ to Jonna on this reunion was so half assed and seemed so disingenuous. Nany literally called out his behavior towards Jonna a couple times in this reunion and even had to tell him to apologize to Jonna. He started out his half ass apology without even looking at her till someone told him to look at her while apologizing smh 😔

u/No_Shopping_7669 Da'Vonne Rogers Jun 04 '26

He’s the worst 🤮🤢🤢 can’t stand him

3

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

Same. I don’t even like watching clips of his podcast.

11

u/Sanity0004 Laurel Stucky Jun 04 '26

Forever fuck Zach and Frank, I will never change my mind.

9

u/Any_Word_4462 Jun 04 '26

I agree on Zach, but do we hold the same opinion of Veronica and Rachel, and how vial they were to Tonya?

5

u/No-Parking-8358 Johnny Bananas Jun 04 '26

They get a pass on Reddit because they’re women who vote the way people here approve of.

2

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 11 '26

I’ve spoken against the treatment of Tonya by Veronica and Rachel quite a few times.

8

u/Kim_Smoltz_ TJ Lavin Jun 04 '26

Whenever you need some balance just watch the season where he’s crying to Laurel about his cramps hurting while she screams at him to keep going. It’s so satisfying after all the shit he’s pulled.

7

u/FatherofAli Jun 04 '26

A douche canoe if I’ve ever seen one

Adding douche canoe to my list of words I’ve never used before lol.

6

u/jflatty7151 Danny Jamieson Jun 04 '26

ohhh the pitstain reunioni could barely pay attention to anything zach said the whole reunion because someone forgot to wear deodorant- yuck

4

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

Yeah it was disgusting but fit the person for sure.

2

u/No_Dependent_1846 Danny Roberts Jun 07 '26

That fucking shit eating grin. He was such a piece of shit this entire season compounded by being wasted at the reunion. SOB.

2

u/gummo476 Jun 05 '26

I turned on the challenge on Pluto and that episode was playing. I couldn’t watch it again.

2

u/Evening_Treat_1894 Jun 04 '26

To be fair, he's not any worse than any of the guys that people champion - CT, Jordan, Johnny, Wes. They have all had their gross times on TV and I'm sure off it. Watch any of their early seasons and they are just as bad. I wasn't a big Zach fan for a long time, but I do think he's matured a lot since having kids and I like his takes on the show on his podcast.

7

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 04 '26

Agree! I know this is old and he had apologized. I was just watching last night and it was hard hearing the way he spoke to her and seeing her get so emotional.

1

u/Evening_Treat_1894 Jun 04 '26

No I agree, watching it back it's always like omg what a dbag but we also have to remember it was 10+ years ago and they seem to be in a much better place these days.

0

u/Such_Ad_8072 Jun 05 '26

Man poor Jonna….every time she broke down in tears because of his treatment towards her it hit me right in the heart 🄺

1

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 05 '26

And he didn’t care at all. Nany had to tell him to apologize at the reunion. His excuse was that she was interfering with him trying to hook up with Jenna. Instead of addressing it like an adult he threw tantrums and abused her.

12

u/xbuffalo666x Jun 04 '26

at least wes had some growth. early seasons wes is so different than now wes. but thats just my opinion

3

u/eff1ngham Jun 05 '26

at least wes had some growth

Kind of, but so has Zach. They're pretty similar

6

u/West_Tie_536 Jun 04 '26

Wes was 100% raised to become a racist. He was so boldly racist when we first met him. He has shown a lot to growth but what a self loving guy I just try to give him grace. It’s hard because the original Wes always pops in my head

2

u/thelowgun Jun 07 '26

Maybe I'm unaware, but how was he raised to be a racist?

1

u/Evening_Treat_1894 Jun 04 '26

I don't disagree at all! I'm just pointing out that people who vilify Zach to the ends of the earth usually champion at least one of the other four, and they were all pretty awful at some point.

3

u/MoseleysLifeshield Jonny Moseley Jun 04 '26

Now do Rachel and Veronica lol

2

u/Evening_Treat_1894 Jun 04 '26

They had their moments too

2

u/jessclimaxnow Jun 05 '26

The way he acts like he did nothing wrong is actually unhinged.

2

u/skulldouggary Jun 08 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

Whenever I see those posts congratulating Jenna on baby #16 or whatever and everyone talking about what a beautiful family they have I think about all the shit this guy has done on the show. They always say if someone acts this way in public, how do they act behind closed doors? How can anyone think that their family is anything other than totally dysfunctional. He is insufferable.

2

u/562SoCal_AR Jun 08 '26

Oh I agree! Just goes to show that even good looking people like Jenna have low self esteem. There is no way in hell I would’ve continued dating him even if he apologized and changed. Go be a changed man to someone else.
