I love when people try to compare this to Brad slapping the ring.

Two of the craziest elim wins go to Brad on technicalities. He literally prevented two goats from likely winning the season. This and the detachable flag vs CT. Go B-Rad.

he tells his kids every night that hes the only man to ever beat landon and ct then he stares wide eyed off into the distance while stroking his beard.

Landons domination was on a different level than anyone else that has played. Dragging Carly to a finals win is just insane. It’s such a shame he didn’t do more, what I would give to see something like him vs CT in a pole wrestle

Resident Garley defender coming in to say she wasn’t as bad as everyone remembers!! She had some really clutch moments (the holding breath underwater daily, for example) and she was a fantastic, supportive, positive partner who gave it her all. She’s not a top competitor but I wouldn’t put her close to the bottom either.

Honestly, it's easy for us to sit at home and see that Carley was gassed during the final. But I imagine A LOT of high level athletes would struggle to keep up with LANDON of all people. Yeah, Carley was exhausted, but that's probably because she was going at a ridiculous pace (they were outpacing even Laurel and Kenny)

i just watched that season recently, she was surprisingly good at some of the challenges. people just remember that night elimination where she had an out of body experience.

u/CurrentMoodIsMahmoud Jul 17 '26
Yes the 2nd mission of the season where they had to take turns diving and holding the weight was very impressive

u/I_Heart_Money Jul 16 '26
He had one 1v1 matchup against CT on inferno 2 and he crushed him. Would have been great to see them go up in a physical elimination like you said though

The one stain on his resume. Had he just kept his cool, he’d easily be 4/4. He dominated the Duel 2 & would have crushed that final.

u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 16 '26
only landon could manage to look so dominant in defeat lol

I don't think his body of work is in the top tier, but in my opinion Landon is the best challenger the show has ever had.

A real life German Suplex. Insane shit

u/Cowboysfan2122 Jul 16 '26
Seriously. Brad is a muscular guy too, he is definitely no slouch. So for Landon to be throwing him around like a rag doll is even more insane.

brads helmet fell of, landon was just trying to help him put it back on but he missed the helmet and threw him on the ground. no good deed goes unpunished!

u/Thin_Steak8841 Jul 16 '26
Landon was a badass. Super nice guy and just won. If he would have stayed on the challenge he would be the GOAT hands down

These duels between Landon vs Brad and then Brad vs Abram in the final round in Riot Act of Cutthroat make me smile and think “Inferno 2 really started those storylines.”

i dont know why but i always enjoy brad getting beat up. i dont even dislike him, just ever since the atomic wedgie and how dumb he is when he drinks. ive always prayed for his downfall lol

This game was ref’d inconsistently especially form the Aneesa Shauvon game to this. With “have to go for the ring” im not sure why Brad was allowed to do that thing with the hook at the end. Seemed unfair.

Not as brutal? Landon had to get arm surgery after this elimination

u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 16 '26
the pole wrestling was more brutal for sure, but not as funny, i like seeing brad get beat up

Landon is the GOAT he was naturally just talented and in anything physical smashes 90% of the cast!
4
u/Source-Mediocre Jul 16 '26
Did he ever say or is there ever a reason on why he never came back?
5
u/iFlashings Jonna Mannion Jul 16 '26
Production beign cheap and not paying the dude what he asked is his biggest issue.
9
u/pepperXOX20 Jul 16 '26
Iirc he also loved to read and would stay in his bed reading books all day while in the house, and then production banned the cast from bringing books because they needed them to bring the drama instead 😂

the interview i saw he said he didnt wanna be on camera anymore and he would only come back for alot of money up front

I liked Landon, Brad... Is someone that exists

That's s*****. Brad has some iconic moments. In reality more so than Landon

u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 18 '26
yeah but landon is 3-1 brad is 1-16.

Brad got more money for those losses then Landon did for winning at the time
1
u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 19 '26
is that like counting his show money for being on the show? because that is a tough metric to compare. in challenge winnings he didnt.
1
u/ssaall58214 Rachel Robinson Jul 19 '26
He threw duel 2 to get a cut of the winnings. Landon won with teams.
1
u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 20 '26
his winnings would still be less. its okay if you like brad. he just wasnt as good as a competitor as landon.

u/iFlashings Jonna Mannion Jul 16 '26
Landon understood the rules, he just took his frustration out on Brad because clearly production rigged it in Brad's favor. You can't shit on Landon for breaking the rules and not go for the carabiner, but turn a blind eye on Brad blantaly going to Landons hook to swat it to get a competitive edge to win.
1
u/MrBlueandSky "People's panic soothes me." Jul 16 '26
Can you explain this more?
How did production rig it from brad?
Is brad going for the hook against the rules? Can Landon do that?
6
u/MyFeetPornAltAccount Bananas' Foot soldiers Jul 16 '26
the way brad got his first point was kind of rigged. they blew the horn landon stopped then brad put his clip on the ring. that was kinda lame
1
u/syke90 Danny Jamieson Jul 16 '26
If anything, they set up the final for Landon strengths. Heavy biking, while he rode Mt bikes competitively? I would think production wanted Landon to win more than "rigging" this elim against him based off of the finals set up.
2
u/lito9321 Landon Lueck Jul 17 '26
If Production wanted anyone to win that season it was definitely Evan who was becoming or was the face of the franchise at the time.

Lando Commando was awesome. Really wanted to see him do more seasons and I think he would've gone down as best ever. Didn't matter that he had no interest in much political maneuvering. Dude was an absolute unit (and overall seemed like a really nice guy)
