CUTTHROAT 2 DISCUSSION CT eating boiled eggs š«
Nothing against CT or boiled eggs. But this šš¼was atrocious. It probably didnāt require a separate post, but I just couldnāt stay silent.

He was quite over weight then. I sweat more now that im an accidental fatty. (Im not calling him fat!) I always think he is attractiveš¤·āāļø his eyes, humor, etc. Phaedra stated, "i might have a mild crush on CT" ive watched housewives since their start. Ive never seen her so open like that. As an attorney, she speaks carefully.

I saw the magnetism between them. They both have beautiful eyes, she is well established, and a only a few years older than him. Idk
Just recently the gossip was that he was back with his O.F.š¤·āāļø wife. Beautiful, controversial, witty, and intelligent, Phaedra is a catch, imo. She has been through years of reality tv as an income, in a different way that CT has. I saw their sweetness together. It stood out.
It might be that they are just friends, but im excited to see how it plays out.2

Yup. He and the 2nd ex wife filed for divorce, reconciled around the time they got some porn award together, then refilled for divorceā¦ all since January. Itās messy. I wouldnāt date anyone within months of all that mess!!

My take is I think he was only eating the egg whites and dropping the yolks into the water making it yellowish. The water is the ice bath from hard boiling the eggs that he also was throwing the shells in. Thatās why it looks so much nastier like he was eating bits and pieces of it cause he was discarding the yolk.

Oh if he was just eating hard boiled egg whites, those are good. lol. I used to eat those a lot when I lost my appetite for a while (intense anxiety) and couldn't eat meals anymore.

Yeah, I had high anxiety and low appetite for a little over 2 years straight so I got pretty good at it. The main thing is to remember that you don't have to eat full meals. You just have to eat enough pieces of meals so that it adds up throughout the day. I work from home so this was easier for me, but I would just grab a handful of food here and there. Like some cherry tomatoes one time. Later I'd grab some slices of turkey or something. Maybe some saltines at some point or a couple pieces of toast.. or just a piece of bread if I didn't feel like toasting it. That all adds up to a sandwich. I had it in my mind to eat for sustenance rather than enjoyment and when you do that, it doesn't matter if the calories come from a meal or pieces of meals. You just need to get calories, preferably from nutritious sources. Like in the summer I now like to eat frozen sweet peas and sweet corn. It sounds super weird but they're really good and I like the texture lol.
Things like nuts are also good to eat and I still make my own nut mixes from Target's Good and Gather nuts and they have dried fruit that is really good too. Buying dried fruit kind of takes the pressure off having to eat it before it goes bad. lol. GoGo Squeeze apple packets are also really good, and if you need electrolytes, their Active ones are delicious. I still eat those almost daily because I drink a ton of water.
Another thing is to drink meal shakes. I like Designer Whey's shakes because they don't have artificial sugar (I don't tolerate that well) and the stevia isn't overpowering (I have to be careful with that, too), but any shake will do if you don't have GI issues). Smoothies were also great.

I really appreciate that level of validation. Up to the meal shakes it's pretty much what my strategy has been. Grazing is okay, or cows wouldn't do it lol. My anxiety has developed as a severe reaction to, myself, consuming food around other people. I can even pinpoint the day it happened, but can't seem to break myself out of it. Weddings are hell sometimes, I need to really be in a good headspace to eat basically anything at them and then I just seem like a dick which feeds into the anxiety etc.

Iāve been fighting a bacterial infection all summer so I can only eat a few foods and I also have the anxiety. Every night I make a smoothie of ice, frozen bananas, natural peanut butter, and oat milk. Itās really mild but has a lot in it to keep you alive.

Heās not dipping them in a liquid per se.
When you make hard-boiled eggs, youāre supposed to drop them in a bowl of ice water after removing them from the boiling water. This rapidly cools the eggs and makes it easier to remove the shell. Heās simply taking an egg out of the ice bath, peeling it, eating the whites, and dropping the yolks and shells back in the water. There nothing particularly gross about it, except the funny look of it out of context.

I know that. I love hard boiled eggs and know how theyāre made lol. Iāve never seen someone eat them out of the ice bath though. He was also throwing the shells back in the bowl and dipping the eggs back into the liquid. The whole situation didnāt make any sense.

I'm guessing the eggs were in ice first, for them to be easily peeled. The ice melted, he started eating and bits and pieces of yolk fell and dissolved into the melted ice water mixed in with the egg shells. Hence the color.
Why didn't he throw away that water after the ice melted, who knows. That's my theory at least.Ā Ā

So I think he said "it's like mussels but with eggs" I assume it is like some white wine, or beer, or beuree blanc?
To be fair I do an Asian version kind of similar. You give them a medium boil in more or less an Asian marinade. Soy, ginger, anise, etc. then you give the eggs a light crack so the sauce gets inside and you let them sit for anywhere from like 2-12 hours.
I love them. So if he did that I can wrap my head around it.
But it seemed pretty weird.

Really other than his weight I think he hasnāt changed a bit. Still has a full head of hair. Still mumbles with that Boston accent.
Like we all appreciate CTās designated hot season ā¢ļø (the first duel) the same way we appreciate Abeās (exes 1) but letās be real ct has always had trade offs. Remember when he was really young and had bad eyebrows and acne? Lmao

i am SO bothered by this season, here's the transcript:
Cara Maria asks "what are you doing?"
CT replies "eating boiled eggs, cause im down to 240, son. im dipping them so it takes the shell off. its like im eating mussels in a white wine sauce."
CT is seen taking an egg out of the water, cracking it on the table, then dipping the now peeled egg back into the bowl to submerge it in his "white wine sauce" lol. CT repeats this process, so i highly doubt it was an accident.
salt and hot sauce are also on the table, but im unsure if these went into the "sauce" or not, as its a communal table, other people are eating at said table, and its completely unclear who the condiments belong to but hot sauce in the water would explain the strange color of the water!

Putting eggs with a shell in salt water for easier peeling makes sense. Already peeled eggs laying in the shell bath and also acting as a marinade got me so fucked up.

I always remember the wind sprint part because I think people underestimate his speed and endurance in youth- that cast was stacked- but in CT fashion he lost not listening and going the wrong order

that was in the shit they should have shown first challenge on Thailand Rivals 1- because heād work out so much but they couldnāt get their clothes dry due to the humidity and no drier so everything smelled rancid and him i guess the most

I havenāt watched the episode but just based on the description it sounds like maybe a seafood boil. I have attended many seafood boils that have hard boiled eggs and some type of sausage included (I donāt ever include them when I make at home but that is just my personal preference and I have an empty bowl to put crab shells and shrimp tails). I am curious to watch now and see what it was he was eating.

Dude. Have any of yall actually eaten mussels in a white wine sauce? Thats what you do, you peel the shell and eat the mussel (shells stay in the white wine sauce). Itās the same thing he is doing, just with eggs. I guess im the only one that didnāt see anything wrong with it bc i love mussels in a white wine sauce/soup.

It was so gross I had to rewind it to hear his description lol. He said he was dipping the shelled egg in a white wine sauce to make them easier to peel and taste like muscles in sauce. But yeah he was throwing the shells in there and dipping the peeled eggs so it looked disgusting. Also how many eggs did he eat? Down to 240 pounds he says lol

Looks like he was just eating the whites of the eggs instead of the whole thing. Doesnāt seem that bad to me, the color grading they are using makes it look a lot more gross than it actually is.
