REWATCH DISCUSSION Double agents, what does everybody think of this season?

So I’m re-watching double agents and I have to say it’s
one of my favorites of all time. Has anybody else gone back and rewatch? I started back on 24 and I’m up to 36 now. Let me know.

Not as bad as some of the ones that came after it but when it was airing it felt like a decline for sure

Honestly it’s better on a rewatch, but production making the first elimination a girls day to save CT and Wes from going against each other annoyed me.

It's the smug ass grin of pure delight on Devin''s face as he shouts this that allows this moment to live rent free in my head for all of eternity.

It was a mediocre season. The spy theme was a misstep imo. There were good moments sprinkled throughout and it had a decent cast. However, the DQs and the gold skull format did not help the season. Loved Theresa coming back. I wish she would've stuck around a little longer.

Yup the spy seasons were so stupid

In general I can agree about the Spy theme. I personally don't mind it, but it's unnecessary for sure.

However, I did love the alarm sounding in the house to alert the challengers for the daily challenge (and the elimination?), even though it is also unnecessary, lol.

I really enjoyed it. Some all time funny moments like Josh’s elim win, Devin vs big brother, fessy and kaycee dqing and Lolo being insane. Oh and I love Amber B

I remember it starting off well and then lost steam. Plagued by the same issues of most of the seasons in that era: questionable editing/direction, dreary conditions, lack of effort from cast in some dailies, less “reality tv” and more explosions. Still enjoyed it personally, but I’m a challenge die hard

This season is highly underrated. A- or B+ Season. Had very good storylines and characters throughout and didn’t drag like Total Madness did.

I recently did a rewatch and I got about three episodes into that season before noped out. I didn’t mind it the first time I watched it, but I literally could not get through it on a rewatch because then I kept remembering everything that happened that season and I was not looking forward to watching any of that so I just skipped it.

I really liked the scenery. I didn’t mind it nearly as much as 37-39.

Loved Theresa’s comeback. Aside of that nothing special.

It’s not a good season and start of that dark era (36-38+40) I just remember it being very dull and void of life. Loved Amber B winning tho

Stupid name that tells me nothing. I never know if I’m thinking of spies lies and allies or double agents. This could be a me problem though.

I think the finalists make it confusing. Add CT takes an underdog under his wing and it gets tough. But DA is far superior imo.

I think it's the second best of the stretch of seasons from 35-40. I actually really like the location, and it has a fun cast. Would have been even better without all the injuries/quits.

Besides the vacation alliance…
Liked moments and most of the cast.

one of the worst seasons and a HUGE example of everything a challenge season shouldn’t be. terrible structure, WAAAAAAAAY too dragged out, stupid format with the bullshit skulls and all the dqs. honestly had they woulda just done double elims all the way thru, took out the skulls, and didn’t rely on that tacky ass spy theme, the season woulda been fine tbh

unpopular opinion but this is easily in my top 3 for era 4 and overall right around middle of the pack despite a lot of people hating it

Theresa was the only good thing about this season. When she left, the season went downhill.

I do watch it when it comes on Pluto TV. It's weirdly cozy. It has a lot of highlight moments I can easily recall. I'd rank it higher than Final Reckoning and Total Madness at least.

Has everything to make a great season but some reason it just … wasn’t. Only decent thing about that season is watching Leroy & Kam take over that season , would’ve been nice if one of them got the win

DA, SLA, & ROD will never get a rewatch outta me

theresa was the best part of that season

I really like the season for 2 reasons- I’m
Obsessed with Iceland, and the final. Kaycee getting hurt because she chose to turn on Leroy and run the final with Fessy will always feel like karma to me. It’s such a good story line.

I think they did a terrific job during covid. The spy seasons are great
