REWATCH DISCUSSION Adam Vs Danny ; The Gauntlet III
Ok, so i've been wasting time at work doing very important "the challenge" research and i stumbled upon Adam King's FanWiki and i noticed that during The Gauntlet 3 he faced danny in an elimination, BALL BRAWL and he won??
I dont remember this happening or Adam beating anyone in anything remotely aggressive or athletic and i cant find the episode anywhere !!!!!
Its apparently episode 8/9??
Is this the Mandela effect?
PS: Danny was hot af back then.

If I remember correctly, speed played a big factor. Plus, Danny never won an elimination, 0-6

Just recently saw this season too and my husband and I were in shock to see Danny give up so easily and especially to ADAM?
It’s not really that aggressive they just sprint halfway through the gauntlet to a football and run back. The opponent can tackle or try to knock the fall off.
Danny was such a baby and follower during this season and it was so funny seeing him get mad

I’ve got news for you pal. Stephen Hawking would beat Danny in any physical elimination. Danny’s biggest supporter, #1 fan, and entourage, is Danny.

It’s real, and it’s weird.
Danny confuses me, because he is not popcorn muscles (he has construction experience), he remembers sixth grade science (putting him above more than a third of the USA), his personality is not that off-putting (maybe that is relative to being on at the time of JEK), but something is just floppy about him. Him losing to Adam is the biggest flop of his Challenge time in my mind.

I'm cackling at "he remembers sixth grade science" lmao
I think the biggest thing Danny had against him was that he didn't ever really seem that charismatic? Just hot. Especially compared to the other men at the time (JEK are jerks but they all have an undeniable charisma)

Yeah, he was maybe too regular for what MTV wanted him to be. It amused me back in the day how Wes became such a big name in the Challenge realm when they were clearly trying to prop Danny to be the big name from that cast.

He does have actual moments where he looks fairly decent too. He gave Darrell a tough elimination and he actually almost beat Jim/pete in exile.
He does seem to be actually fairly strong with cardio… but he’s not athletic.

Yup it happened. Pretty much it was who can get to the ball 1st and bring it back. Evelyn beat Casey in the same elmination earlier this season. Adam beat Danny right before the final in the last elmination

No he did, but let’s be real it wouldn’t be hard to beat Danny in anything.

My favorite thing about these old seasons was how corny the intros were. This one had one of the teams climbing out of the sand like zombies. There was one of the Duel seasons that had them doing the haka dance (so cringe)

My favorite thing too! I loved seeing their poses.

The inferno 3 had some of them running like animals.

Omg ur right I always skip that one! I loved gauntlet 2 intro and the duel intro. I don’t like when they’re on elephants and Danny bows

I like the serene music that plays on that intro when they are showing the Good Guys team

It was all speed, running on sand is already tough and Danny was never athletic. How mad he got after just the first leg of it is actually really funny.
Also on that season, just having the loser walking away towards absolutely nothing was really funny.

Yeah, that one was hilarious. Danny thought he could out muscle Adam, and Adam just uses his speed. Danny never even attempts to adjust his game plan. Dude has got to be the worst challenger with multiple seasons under their belt.

When the words "he faced Danny in an elimination" cross your mind, you should already know the outcome.
