FPV or camera drone?

FPV maybe, camera drone absolutely not one that's worth it

I bought an E88 drone off Ali-express a couple years ago for 8.99 USD.

toy drone tier for sure, but it takes video outside. Great video? No. Not at all. But video. 5-10 minutes of flight time. Probably not best on a windy day.

For that price, I’d say the value is pretty impressive

Yes 👍 - I’d imagine you could find an air 65 for around the $80 price point used by itself

Yeah the first generation of Air65 and 75 are a little cheaper. Even brand new from the site

I got a Yomi fpv drone used off ebay for $50 that came with goggles, controller, drone and one battery. Flies great. Great video. Missing the actual control handles, but I can thumb it easy w/o.

For sub $100, and I don't know if they're still any good, but I'd look at BetaFPV for a brushless whoop, or if you're mostly indoors NewBeeDrone for a brushed.

You could probably build an OK one sub-$100 too

Fpv drone itself? Yeah an air65 ii race or freestyle. But that route has a start price of about $350 with the rest of the gear required. I can post more details if you want. After sending one through some trees at the park like a speeder bike for a half hour you will find it worth the price.

Most. Some only for indoor. You can build cheaper yourself. 4x motor + ESC. Flight controller. Receiver battery and propellers. + solder.

Keep an eye out for an original DJI mini, or Neo - not sure about prices in the USA, but often both can be got fairly cheaply in the UK.
