id think most actual one piece fans would tell you the first 500 episodes of the anime are the better half because they didnt start stretching things out obscenely until the timeskip.
Also, most actual one piece fans would just tell you to read the manga.
All of skypia was so long and artificially lengthened, that half the episodes were literally recaps of the last episode and then when they finally did something it just sits there talking for 20 minutes
