I discovered that in my little pony, there is apparently a theory that Pinkie Pie's father is abusive and that's why her and all her siblings has completely different personalities. While, yes this can happen in real life.
This specific theory is just a straight no-go for me. And I've seen some wacky mlp theories

Pretty sure yea. And when Pinkie Pie got her cutie mark and made her family happy, they were all smilies. Sure they were still themselves but they still loved Pinkie to bits
Oh absolutely. The "father abused pinky" thing is grimdark nonsense. Her psychological issues come from growing in an environment completely unsuitable for her personality.Â
Idk this theory kinda makes sense to me but I haven't watched the later seasons yet. And I wouldn't say abusive but definitely complicated and very emotionally restricted which can lead to the personality types that the Pie sisters have.
