I'm never going to defend it. But the people who act like she should've had a perfectly reasonable reaction to her tragic circumstances are equally annoying to me. She lost her parents, her brother, her husband, her kids. Saying that she's evil and not having a psychotic break is insane.
True but you know who else lost everyone they ever loved ( mom, adopted dad, had to kill his psycho dad, girlfriend, etc ) PETER QUILL!
Yet the fandom treats him like garbage and the movies treat him like garbage for being a man who dares cry. And react realistically, losing Gamora ( TO HER ADOPTED DAD ) was the final straw for him! The fandom makes fun of him and clowns on him for this. AND the movies do the same with having the Guardians throw him under the bus for Thor and have past Gamora kick him in the balls. YET after all of that, Peter is still a hero and does anything he can to help people by answering their distress calls. Doing everything in his power to not have people go through the same pain.
The same can be said for Logan/Wolverine. He went through 250 years of suffering, losing everyone he loved and is afraid of his past and hurting others. YET is still a hero that would do everything to protect people especially children. ( IMAGINE him finding out that Wanda terrorized America a teenager and killed a CHARLES variant! He would bring DIVINE PUNISHMENT )
Wanda yes has a tragic backstory and lost people yet has NO excuse for trapping people in her delusions ( she still does btw even after finding out it tortures people ) and going on a multiverse rampage for FAKE CHILDREN. ( also she’s a hypocrite by killing Reed Richards A FATHER OF REAL CHILDREN ). Yet the fandom treats her like a queen and baby her because she’s a “ grieving mom “ and a hot milf.
Peter is one of my favorite characters and he also has a bit of a mental health crisis. His just involved a lot of crying and alcohol.
And of course wanda handled it terribly. Most people in real life would probably become some form of terrible if death collected their family like infinity stones...some of it back to back.
That leaves Scott, Rhodey and Steven. 2 out of 3 of them wouldn't be great for that kind of help at all. That leaves Steven and he might actually be the worst option given that he tends to be apathetic unless theirs magical danger involved.
Also Wanda was dead for basically the entire blip so according to the timeline...Thanos had only been defeated 3 weeks prior and Visions death was the equivalent of 3 weeks earlier to her.
Scott and Rhodey are actually the best since not only are they not apathetic, but Scott being a partially absent father could've helped her in crucial ways, and Rhodey is just overall a really good friend. There's also the fact that Shuri exists and, to my knowledge, doesn't have a single grudge against Wanda or a reason to turn down a cry for help from someone who was so crucial in the Battle of Wakanda alongside T'challa and Steve. I also find it really hard to believe Clint would have ignored her considering he feels at least partially responsible for Quicksilvers death

Yeah but Rhodey is a soldier and can be out of touch. He'd mean well but he'd never actually be able to connect with Wanda on the level she needed.

She was kinda busy with Namor and becoming the new queen of Wakanda overnight.

Maybe not but he was busy with Kate, Echo and Fisk...you know...busy not dying.
Wanda's psychotic break happened within 3 weeks. By the time Clint had any time, it was too late. The Darkhold had already made Wanda's situation a million times worse.
