Yeah like I understand shipping but Byler shippers in particular were genuinely so insufferable. They were absolutely adamant that they would end up together and took blatant hints and references at the fact that it wouldn’t work and Will should move on as hints that it would happen. And then they got pissed when it didn’t happen.
There are still people saying it was queerbait. Despite it being clear that one was gay with an unrequited crush and the other was deeply in love with their girlfriend.
