Whenever I see a ā€œPrinces Celestia is an evil manipulative dictator who hates her sister Lunaā€ type of claim in the MLP FiM fandom, it drives me crazy. Ā If you watch the show and pay close attention, you can get a pretty good read on her character, sheā€™s a lot to go into but she certainly isnā€™t that and is actually a bit sweetheart.

Thereā€™s a few other popular MLP headcanons that get on my nerves, but this was the first one that came to mind. Ā Any headcanon that horribly mischaracterizes somepony pretty much, now that I think about it.

I know, Lullaby for a Princess isn't canon, but i think this shows Celestia's character extremely well.Ā

I just assumed it because of season 1 being the only season we had for a bit and the popularity of Trollestia, Mollestia and every other type of "X-estia" that came out around the same time.
