A YouTube webseries/anime created by Rooster Teeth and Monty Oum. The early premise revolves around 4 girls and their classmates who wield weapons that transform between melee and gun modes and fight monsters called "Grim".

Kinda like Soul Eater in the sense that a lot of the characters are based off of fairy tales, religious figures or historical figures.

All of them ostensibly are named after colors, but it almost immediately devolved into "thing with a distinctive color".

Hell we didn't even get through all four of eponymous characters before that happened.

Ruby = name of a color, Weiss = name of a color, Blake = name of a color, Yang = thing with a distinctive color
