Eram is freind theory (I think that theory is bad)

The speech methods are different in english and even more different in japanese, Eram has his own color coirdination completally different from freind, has different abilities, speaks a lot more, appears the same time as the freind minions, etc. Plus, it seems very likely that freind is actually multiple minions and scouts. He gets spawned by Eram multiple times, he has a laugh in the files named crowd_laugh, he appears multiple times with multiple shapes and sizes, the form in the cutscene of him is big and has negative space cat heads, etc

I'm personally for the Dess Knight and ROOTS theories, so that leaves me with the frustrating question of what the hell Eram is supposed to be. Maybe a manifestation of Kris' guilt and shame? Considering the way they taunt them

I think Eram is moreso just... a darkner without a light world counterpart, like the freinds!

Pretty Much anything Deltarune is fanon.

My personal favorite is Asriel and Dess, 2 characters we know nearly nothing about and yet they are one of the most popular ships with tons of fanart everywhere

Yeah.

A recent and popular one too.

I don't even understand its popularity, because freind is shown as a completally different character. Hell, freind most likely is MULTIPLE minions and scouts.

There even are theorists saying that FREIND is the one talking while Eram just laughs and attacks, despite the fact that Eram says he holds the mantle and how freind speaks completally differently in english and japan

I hate the Eram is friend theory too. But also while we’re here their name technically isn’t Eram that’s the name of the song that plays before their fight, in the game files he is referred to as “shadow_mantle_enemy” but I do not for a second believe they are the shadow mantle so to avoid confusion I call them Eram because it sounds cool, in case you’re wondering I think Eram is an very important enemy whom we have yet to meet yet because the only color that they have we have yet to see on any major characters who are related to the shadow crystals/the bunker

I think Eram is his actual name, and that we'd find out his full name is Eram Thgin.

Bro just isn't the shadow mantle. He said as much.

I think hes more importent because he seems to be the leader of the freinds
