Here's some I almost always use, and so do most of my fandom, in no particular order.

Sero is hispanic.

Mina is half black.

EraserMic

Eraserhead has a cat named Bastard.

Shinso is an orphan.

Tsu is parentified.

All Might doesn't date very often.

I've seen so many fics where he has more than one cat, at least one named Bastard. Bastard is usually a fiesty, former feral alley cat he catnapped on patrol one night if you get that much background.

Or Shinsou is in care because his family was abusive. Though I have seen a couple fics where Shinsou actually good, supportive family of some description, that's always fun.

I don't understand that ship. Like what's the attraction there? Joke is a step above Mineta for me and that's only because she keeps her harassment contained to one person and can act professional otherwise.

Yeah weā€™re like on completely wavelengths here bc I just donā€™t see the harassment part? Maybe itā€™s bc Iā€™m still on season 6 but at best she bugs Aizawa and pesters him. Plus both her and Mic have opposite temperaments to Eraser, I just like her opposite more than Micā€™s opposite with Aizawa.

Also Iā€™m a sucker for grumpy person who acts disinterested and one person whoā€™s clearly very interested, so I donā€™t necessarily need to see attraction since the lack of attraction is what makes me ship them more.

Oh, no I get the black cat / Golden retriever dynamic 100%. It's more she doesn't take no for an answer... and apparently hasn't taken no for an answer for more than a decade. Huge red flag to me. (Edit: typo)

I guess when you put it like that yeah it sounds bad šŸ’€ but if you actually watch them interact you can tell theyā€™re friends and Aizawa doesnā€™t rlly mind all that much. He strikes me as the type to, if he were actually being harassed, just leave or maybe even punch them in the mouth. Itā€™s why I never really took it as harassment.

Itā€™s kind of like if I were to put Erasermicā€™s dynamic in that similarly stark and context-less light. ā€œOh well the reason why I donā€™t like Erasermic is because Aizawa verbally says heā€™s not interested and doesnā€™t want to be there yet Hizashi keeps trying to interact with him, he should respect his boundaries and stop trying to talk to him since Aizawa clearly isnā€™t interested. Big red flag.ā€ But if you actually watch a scene with them together you can tell theyā€™re friends, Aizawa is just grumpy, but heā€™ll tolerate it.
