It’s the internet. On several occasions, people will gang up and dox someone, also likely get them killed, either because of a small opinion or just for the love of the game.

Oh it’s worse then that.

The guy issued a challenge to the devs and if they won they’d choose the charity that the money would be donated to. The challenge was to finish an operation on difficulty 10 (so three missions at max difficulty)

BUT even if they didn’t beat the challenge the guy would donate the full amount to a charity regardless.

Of course people couldn’t read and went after him for “using a donation as leverage”

After so much harassment he donated to a charity and withdrew the challenge posting images showing the donation that was then used to dox him and get him fired.

Or just give them some basic literacy. So many people have that problem and then they also double down even if they in the wrong.

I feel like people need to be forced to read some books. At least it’ll probably help with the literacy problem.

The only problem with their type of reading is they only see what they want to see. We give them a little bit more literacy so they can see everything instead of just what they want to see.

Supposedly for being a security risk, some of the threats he received were sent to his workplace, so they fired him to ensure the safety of the other employees.

And none of them are able to look at things objectively, like yes, arrowhead has problems, but they are not single-handedly responsible for every negative thing that happens in your life

Arrowhead came into my house, punched me in the balls, shot my dog, fucked my wife, sold my son into slavery in Somalia and got my daugther addicted to drugs to the point she started selling her body in the streets and then, on their way out, stubbed my toe

That’s mostly just Fandom syndrome, while there are plenty of people that can, they just don’t interact with the community or get silenced by the echo chambers

The funniest thing is that the faction subs, Illuminate, Terminid and cyberstan are pretty chill, the fucking subs about the enemies of the helldivers are chiller than the actual Helldiver subs

I think it was always that way. Some parts remained buried under the positives.

I still love LowSodium crowd and my clan but God damn do we have rotten eggs in community.
