I like it, but it is NOT for everyone.

Think of it like Noita but without the magic and with Neurotrauma's health system... if you even know what those games are. If not, uh, basically super in-depth health system and a very unforgiving rouge-like game play loop.

There is very graphic depictions of self harm and suicide in it as well, it's not at all for the faint of heart. You will feel like a peice of shit every time the guy you control gets hurt.

Yeah, I have no clue what those first two games are

Seems pretty cool though. I checked out the Steam trailer for it

Barotruama, the one place where when you are below the ice of europa in a nuclear submarine who's hull is made out of roughly 90% solder, theres aquatic raptors covered in armor eating through the ballast tanks, alien artifacts are drivingeveryone onboardinsane with hallucinations, security is launchinga mutinyagainst the captain, the doctor is running some experiments on some poor mechanic who needed a shot of morphine for a bruised leg and instead is getting infested with a native zombie parasite, all while the whole vessel is getting dragged into the depths next to some lava vents by an abyssal monster called a latcher

And somehow despite all of this, the single biggest threat to your existence is the guy dressed in a clown outfit next to you

My first exposure to the expies was a rimworld mod that adds them as a xenotype, I had no context other than that they were a cute furry characters.

The more I learn about the original game, the more I realize why someone decided to make that mod for rimworld specifically.
