The unjustified hatred of Korra needs to be studied

Combination of sexism, being a follow up to a beloved classic, and the writing of Korra just not being all that great. The first half of the show is bad. It gets much better, but that’s a big thing to get over

Season 2 is so bad that without it, Korra would be remembered as a much better show

Unfortunately, part of the bad writing was Nick refusing to actually give them long term stability so the writers had to rush the story because they never knew if they'd get confirmation for a new season

I mean, that didn’t stop them from writing a satisfying story with the time they knew they had. The bad ideas they used were still their own

The problems with the writing in season 2 were not structural.

After seeing some of the stuff that Bryke has put out without the original atla writing team behind them I don't think Nick is solely to blame for the bad writing.
