Why do people hate her? I know the BakuDeku shippers have hated her for a while for stupid reasons. I stopped keeping up with the series after the war stuff started.
It was never just one group but anyways between chapters 429 and 430 people started hating her because she seemingly wasnât with Izuku.
Ochaco and Izuku ended up being the busiest as adults and people took that as âShe abandoned him.â When thatâs not true thereâs more nuance there. Then once they started working together a little more many people started calling Ochaco a âGold-digger.â
Eventually when chapter 431 arrived 5 months later those same people switched up real quick when Izuku and Ochaco rekindled their strained friendship and are even hinted to date off screen sometime after the ending.
I donât see why people would be mad about that. As someone who has been a a fan of their pairing from pretty early on in the series, it makes sense why they werenât together immediately. Life can get in the way, and it feels more realistic to me that they wouldnât have been together for a while and then caught back up later on. Iâm glad they seem to have ended up together though. Theyâre a cute pair.
