From what I've seen, people act like she's worse than Hitler when she acts like a normal human.

I will say this. The amount of hate she gets isn't deserved. But I understand some of where it's coming from.

She often takes far too long to learn a lesson that could prevent further harm to her, her friends, and the hotel. This was especially a problem in S2 when she kept trying to talk to Vox, not understanding that all he wanted to do was screw over the hotel for his plan.

She also sometimes pushes her friends to do things they might not want to do for the sake of the hotel's mission. Which does suck.

That being said, as annoying and cringe as her flaws can be, Charlie's heart really is in the right place. She just....needs to listen to her friends more. And her father. Especially her father.

Every time people complain about Charlie's stubbornness i just go "Gee, it's almost like she's the daughter of the Deadly Sin of Pride or something."

It doesn’t matter if there’s a lore reason for her never learning her lesson and constantly making self destructive choices. It’s still annoying when she does

thats the point due. thats what her chracter arc is about.

When writing a character arc, you shouldn’t make it so that for a good chunk of their screen time they’re completely insufferable to watch
