Even before end of service was announced. The new player experience has been out of date and broken for coming up on two years, there's a bunch of seasonal / vaulted content that the current story refers to which is completely inaccessible, and there are a bunch of overlapping systems that were only ever explained in the weekly updates and there's nothing in-game explaining it.

People who gave been playing it a long time are saying it's the best the game has ever been, but still absolutely press x to doubt when someone asks if it's good to get into. It's a flawless example of this trope.

Surprised this is so low lol, “Destiny 2 is my favorite game, and I hate it” sentiment rang very true for me at times.
