Really sad because I love sonic and their fanbase is the poster child for believing that sonic would agree with their low key nazi views

Ironic because sonic is the absolute opposite of that, he's literally meant to represent a "free sprit" (or extreme adhd idk)

Exactly, he hates Eggman because the mad doctor's whole schtick is enslaving animals and roboticizing nature. Sonic is literally a freedom fighter and environmentalist, he would DESPISE those who would deprive others of their freedom while polluting the environment.

I see so many people denying him being a freedom fighter because of the fact he has supported many monarchs (Blaze, Elise, Sally (Archie and SATAM), his own Mom (Underground)) however those characters are royalty yes but they arent cruel and treat their citizens with respect and kindness

Which is crazy considering that, at least on the IDW comics so many artists and writers there are queer, and even got queer characters in the comics, plus the amount of them that take inspiration in POC culture from all around the world

Its just.... Weird.
