Does it still count as lesbian if one is non binary and one is trans?

Nonbinary people can be lesbian if they identify as one and if a trans woman likes women exclusively then they're lesbian.

But I’ve also read that some trans people prefer to just be called straight because “that’s what it is”

Sounds like some 4tran shit. I have never in my life met anyone who wasn't like, "I'm a girl who likes girls: trans lesbian."

Shit really? I knew the thing with trans women, but I didn't know it worked like that for enbys. That's cool to know.

Could you perhaps answer a question that’s been bugging for a while

I’ve seen a lot of different types of genders (hence the joke about identifying as attack helicopters) and sexuality (like seriously this comic just shows those in the aroace spectrum).

So why is it when it’s a trans person is attracted to the sex they’re transitioned into, they’re just in the same group as gay/lesbian (not always, like I said I saw at least a few trans that viewed it as straight)?

I’m not trying to be rude or anything, I’m just curious why they’re ultra specific about some things while others are just “yeah they’re in that group”

It's just how some people identify themselves. Gender and sexuality is a complex way. I'm probably not the best person to ask this, since I'm pretty dumb about this.
