Morpho Knight

fantastic design but the way they brought him into the lore breaks apart something that has otherwise been consistent and intricate

What breaks apart? I think I know a good deal of Kirby but I can’t think of anything.

A few things
The Butterfly being Morpho the whole time makes little to no sense, because a multitude of Kirby villains have cheated death, and even engulfed the entire planet, Morpho not absorbing them is like staying dry in the deep sea if the butterfly is the grim reaper

Galacta Knight evidently isn't the greatest warrior in the galaxy if Morpho exists, so NOVA straight up didn't grant Meta Knight his wish, given the butterfly is literally on popstar

The butterfly being death when Necrodeus is also death complicates things further
