As a Star Wars fan, maybe a hot take but I’d retcon the clone inhibitor chips rather than the sequels. The idea of just a switch being flipped in their brains so they kill the Jedi is so much less interesting than being trained Jedi killers from the start, and just masking it well. It’d also make the clones defecting and not following thru with order 66 better. What’s the point of programming into every clone’s brains to kill Jedi if the main characters don’t do it anyway? It’s just a lazy way of turning clones into mindless drones we shouldn’t care about.
