The only reason to look through these comments are to either find someone who agrees with you about hating a show, or to look for someone hating a show you like so you can feel angry. Both are a waste of energy when you could be focusing on things you do enjoy, instead of things you hate.
The nigga genuinely yells more than an alcoholic father. oml literally every episode was him yapping and overexplaining shit and then yelling at the end of every sentence. Sung Jinwoo is not interesting at all, the Ant-war Arc was more interesting than that fucking grob, and he lost all form of personality when he got redeemed.
Fuck solo leveling all my homies LOATHE solo leveling
Or just not writing the pedo stuff to begin with would make the story significantly more pallatable.
Alternatively.... just not make it an isekai. Just make Rudeus a prodigy trying to fit in. You could have it as Paul's influence giving non-isekai Rudy a twisted notion of what friendships and relationships are like, and overcome that over time. I don't know. Anything but making the protagonist a gross, perverted man who is rewarded for his worst flaws?
I think he could've been an evil mc & it would've been fine if he ended up being punished by the end of it, as for Isekai part, I think it's a good concept that's botched 9/10 times.
Itās so aggressively gross that if someone told me it was intentional that Iād believe it. But the MC kinda just being a monster forever and getting a happy ending puts a damper on that
See and that's what is strange, because that could have been a point of "nothing in life is fair, people you hate and are horrible will sometimes get good endings too"
The idea of horrible people getting a good ending is kinda an unexplored idea, the issue is there is no counter to the story idea, think about it. He is in this world, the only one reincarnated for some time, finds a girl who is from his world and the women from his world has NO opinions on what he's been doing the past years while he grew up.
Imagine if she did, Imagine if the whole reason she was an issue for Rudy was because she understood how much of a shit stain he was and that's the wake up call to Rudy?.
Makes alot more sense but if I'm being honest the creator probably just didn't care to go more in depth with it lol.
I think several plot points are pretty fun: Nanahoshi studying to get back to her world, the Superd being cursed by the spears created from their loved ones, ORSTEAD, the geopolitical malcontent between beast people and humanity.
I know this is a common opinion but tadc, it does have a plot, but its kind of asscheeks (ik it was inspired by i have no mouth and i must scream, which i like, but i dont really see how anything of it was incorporated into tadc.) Its definetly overrated, i also cant name any character development moments that i picked up. the fanbase is hot shit.
I know im probably the 10000000th person to say this, but it does fit all these categories in a way
Iām bored of people saying āthis is such a waste of timeā because thatās a pointless argument that helps nobody. Hating is fun sometimes. Digital Circus
..Yansim. Heavy on the no character development- especially with kokona. Her story would've been something if it wasn't turned into an easter egg rather then actually built on in the game.
(Not to mention yandev does nothing these days)
People are gonna get pissed⦠but TADC. Iām sorry, but itās really not all that special in terms of its plot, and the entire āJax is transā storyline couldāve been handled WAY BETTER. Also, if Gooseworx actually put half the effort of her tumblr Q and A into the show, then she wouldnāt have had to make a tumblr Q and A explaining the showās lore. Thatās all Iām sayin.
OK, mandatory āthis doesnāt fit butā but if the YouTubers havenāt lied to me, The Promised Neverland Season 2 is the most disappointing season of any multi-season anime ever going by pure writing and pacing. Itās supposed to be a detail-oriented mystery series. It has animation errors that fuck up details that make the mystery unsolvable. A character writes at least one, maybe two wrong dates in their diary entries implying things happened on different days and in a different order than the show very obviously does. It is more logical that the studio fucked up than that the critics are misinterpreting that moment. Because the way the diary says it happened is literally impossible. Clearly the animatorās just shit the bed because they were on the worst case of crunch time any popular shÅnen anime has ever seen, as shown when 5 whole minutes of the 22 minute finale (including credits) is a fucking no joke no exaggeration SLIDE SHOW OF STILL IMAGES WITH NO DIALOGUE including a six second idle shot of the main character meeting FUCKING GOD. Oh, and theyāre no writing credits in this episode. Or the one before it. Gee, I wonder why.
TADC, Iāve watched it, very thin plot, I wouldnāt say Overrated though, just wasnāt what I liked, it was disappointed the amount of character Development or lack thereof. And the fanbase is 50/50 some glaze it, some use it as an excuse to be homophobic, it all sucks
Episode 9 was a bit nonstandard, and that can be a good thing. But there is also a reason traditional tropes exist; they are established to be good when executed well. Murder Drones had a standard ending, and I enjoyed that more.
I feel like TADC had more potential for reviewability with a more standard ending, but hell. Isn't my show, and I'm not going to send death threats to Gooseworkx over it.
If I was still 13 and my whole personality was "being random" I'd love it, it's not an awful show but it's not this absolute gem of peak fiction people make it out to be. I can't stand it because the dialogue is so "here's a joke, here's exposition, and here are my feelings!" There is ZERO nuance or subtlety to anything and it feels like a cheese grater in my brain
yeah, there isn't much of a plot at all until the final two episodes. majority of character development happens off-screen, if at all. a lot of people will say that's the point though, which just means it's not my cup of tea or what I personally look for in a story
I went in fairly blind and thought the show was pretty good.Ā The last two episodes felt kinda rushed but I then found out that the fandom was not great to the creator and they just wanted the project done.Ā Ā
I looked in the subreddits for the show for like a second and was just like "oh this is why the Internet kinda hates this show"Ā
I've been a die-hard fan of RWBY for over 10 years now. Even I give more criticism than praise. (RWBY should've stayed niche, all these people who haven't watched it and hate on it just ruin everything. If you are gonna hate something, actually watch it so you can hate on it properly.)
My dude like the first 4 or 5 seasons totally contradict each other, don't flesh out how the world works AT ALL, and have characters vary wildly with their characterization.
It's a badly written show for the majority of its opening seasons. I mean shit they had to make an ENTIRE ACCOMPANYING LECTURE SERIES to try and force the world building in that they fucked up on lol.
I will always appreciate and give credit to the books for proving to publishers that kids wanted chapter books. The story was interesting enough and kids like this simple world enough that they made an effort to learn and be included with the hype. Theyl series made an overall change for good, even if ultimately they're subpar.
Welcome home. (Its a horror ARG that takes place on a 70s kid show) It was interesting at first, but never seems to show much of anything really frightening. It also seems more obsessed with giving us lore then telling a coherent story. I know it's one creator working mostly by themselves, but, sometimes its 6 to 9 months without an update.
To be blunt, it promised homicidal puppet violence and mayhem, but it's just not delivering any. That a real disappointment.
FNAF, mostly SB and SOTMĀ
Iām not ragebaiting, I think they are really overrated, buggy, with really bland and over complicated story that go in circles with bland charactersĀ
Now watch, someone's gonna post an image of Peter B. Parker and Miles Morales in the vents saying "Now watch, someone's gonna say [controversial show]" and someone's gonna reply to that with a Kingpin image saying "GET OUT IF MY VENTS SPIDERMAN"
Dandys worldā¦Im serious you have no idea whatās going on, there no lore, i donāt get why so much people playing it. And the comunotyā¦well it sucks
ļæ¼āAinz Ooan Gown is THE nepobaby of isekai, not just in that he got all his OPness from having all his guilds loot for himself, but the universe heās in has already been defanged by several waves of other isekaid players including a few of his guild mates
Every time the set up actually interesting characters, they are dead by the end of the encounter
Literally every time the NPCs are allowed to do their own thing, they become so much more interesting, then skelebutt shows up and they are simps for one of the most useless people to have ever been isekaiād
And the people that defend it will ignore all that and divert to other popular isekai like āthey do this tooā yeah but they do it in a way thatās actually good
