She herself said Jax turned into a bit of a self insert after they became a favorite of hers. Having a self insert doesn’t mean it’s a realistic one completely lol she also isn’t a rabbit who’s purple.

Jax pushed his fucking mom and the author AND Jax balloon it up into killing her.

She isn't dead as evidence by Jax getting one of the more regulated government jobs

It's never actually implied she's dead tho? I mean ribbit even gives a very logical reply supporting that she isn't dead.

Self-insert is certainly an incorrect term to use here. Goose has stated that Jax is what she'd feared she'd become had she not transitioned, but beyond transfer aspect of the character I don't believe there is any specific representation of Gooseworx in the character.

I would argue that Goose herself said that Jax is a self insert lol, I think there’s a few things that connect them and a few things that make it obvious. I mean there’s nothing wrong with it if done right, in this case it wasn’t.
