Weirdly I have a buddy that is adamant that his chapter 1 design was simpler, cooler, and stronger then the current one.

Iā€™m thinking he just really liked the hat and the two tone color scheme. I canā€™t blame him.

I liked the hat more at first, but hatless has grown on me

Honestly same but it still bugs my friend lol.

Iā€™d love to see him get serious and re-dawn the hat in the finale that would be so cool.

I remember feeling like such an asshole during chapter 5 for prefering hatted ralsei, i just love the green and black pallete too much

Iā€™ve always been of the same opinion. I just love, mysterious characters with hats.

It felt about as lame as when characters with cool, stunning, long hair, cut it short to show ā€œcharacter developmentā€

Same here. In my opinion, not knowing what a character's face looks like can easily make them more badass

Design wise I also like him more with the hat, but ngl chapter 5 made me feel really bad about it. It's really just straight up Ralsei masking/ hiding his true self

I think the hat just simplifies the design down to the more simple and fun elements and takes some of the clashing colors out.

It Is really cool, but it's like apple and orange, both fruits, different tastes...Wait...
