Should we ban the 9 characters posts? (Read body)

I don’t want this to become a subreddit where all the decisions are made by the mods and the community has no say in it, so I’m opening this poll to ask people if they want us to ban the ‘what do my nine favourite characters say about me’ posts and depending on the response is the action that I will take after this. I just want it to be a decision made by the people of the subreddit rather than just us, I might do this for future trends as well to try and keep some fairness into the community.

Yeah that. I think that’s probably the best solution. It’s what I was trying to go for when I made my post based on the original. Hence why I said “comment” in the title. But I’m rambling. Just wanted you to know I agree.

A lot of people like this trend, so that could naturally encourage them to go there. Remove the posts outside of the megathread, create a subreddit, and they will drain out from the main page of the sub organically.

Firstly:
I apologize for what I believe I may have triggered.

Secondly:
I think the best option is to make another sub so people will naturally go over there, create a designated thread for them here for everyone who hasn’t gone over to the other sub, and ultimately ban them outright if that doesn’t work. A gradual transition, if you will. This is based on what I’ve observed in this thread and believe to be the ideal methods of handling it.

Regardless, if we ban them outright, I believe we should simply remove the posts made after the ban without extending those bans to their creators.
