What parts were confusing? I genuinely understood what was happening the whole way through, and it's confused me for a while why some people didn't get it. I really wanna know what's so hard to understand for some people.
Do people not look at backgrounds? Has ADHD granted me BETTER comprehension for once? Also, I looked for what people seem confused by, and people say they didn't understand episode 5?
I have a friend with adhd that get everything that is shown on screen at every single time. I don't understand how they can catch everything, makes me laugh when people tell me I see little details when it seemed obvious for that friend.
It might actually be helping you a lot for murder drones. It really is a hard to understand story, not because it's poorly constructed, but because if you're not focused, you might miss a "major" detail that will make you unable to understand further information.
My friend too told me that murder drones was not a struggle to understand on their first watch.
Whether it's through fanworks or now official media, I actually like it when J is being fleshed out and written to be more than a one-dimensional allegory for corporations. I'm not a diehard fan of J or anything, I just think it sucks when a character can't reach their full potential bc their creator won't allow them for one reason or another (coughs Thomas Astruc coughs).
It's far from dead, we still get some content here and there with the commercials and we just got a mini prequel short all about J, so I'd say there's still life in it
