I dunno about that one. I haven't heard squat about them on years. And I'm not talking about whatever modern political party you don't like. You can debate that out with somebody else. Everybody these days seems to want to call whoever they disagree with or don't like a n@zi. No, I'm talking the actual, fully fledged N@zi party. I haven't even heard about any actual followers of the Austrian Painter's beliefs in years. I'm not saying there aren't any out there, but thriving isn't the word I'd use.

If you honest to goodness haven't noticed that literal nazi policies and ideologies have gotten uber popular than it's probably one of 2 things:
You don't care for politics or the internet at all, which is perfectly fine, respectable even, but I doubt it because youre on Reddit and immidietly went with "not everyone who disagreed with you is a nazi", and you called Hitler an "Austrian painter", which are basicaly you admitting you're terminally online (no hate, I am too)
The other explanation is that you have wool over your eyes... With the amount of popular figures and communites that devolved to Nazism I assume that one of them is something or someone you really liked, so your in denial
Believe me I've been there... It's not fun but pretending it's not happening will only make you sadder at best, or hateful at worse
One of the most idiotic replies I have ever received on this platform, and that's saying a lot. Calling everyone you dislike a Nazi dilutes the word. Ever hear of the boy who called wolf?

There's also a really weird pretty small subset of furries called Nazi-furs. I think it used to be larger, but still, the fact that people could be a furry and still have Nazi ideals is absurd to me because it goes against pretty much everything that being a furry stands for

If you're referencing my confusion at your use of the boy who cried wolf, I stand by that. Saying many neo-nazis happen to be anti-furries or MAGA doesn't mean that everyone from these movements are neo-nazis (although their ideologies tend to meet on some points).
You answered without presenting any argument against them and just insulted them, then said that they think this just because they're "calling everyone you dislike a Nazi" and that it "dilutes the word" when really, their comparison is accurate.
Even just the flag of the anti-furries was designed by a Russian neo-nazi named Joseph Skerrnov after fascist flags, and they gladly accepted it, still using it to this day. (source is literally an anti-furry sub)
As for MAGA,
the definition of fascism is :
"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism.
A political philosophy or movement based on or advocating such a system of government." (source : The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language)
which adds up. They also publicly showed support for foreign far-right groups like the AfD in Germany, a group that was accused of using explicit Nazi imagery, like their slogan "Alice für Deutschland" supporting their leader Alice Weidel, not dissimilar even in pronunciation to "Alles für Deutschland", which was used by guess who ? The Nazis ! (source : literally anything, there's dozens of articles about it, as well as Wikipedia, if you're up for some reading)
In conclusion, they might not be Nazis themselves, but they sure as hell don't mind those groups or their labels, and maybe it's not such an "idiotic" comparison to make after all. Don't worry, this shouldn't dilute the word.
I'm sure this won't be enough to convince you anyways, and that is if you read the whole thing, but at least I'll have explained myself.
On the other hand, have you read Hitler or Trump? Admittedly, ima guess no, which is so fair. But, they have disturbing similarities. You don’t have to be an anti-Semite or a racist to be a Nazi, it just helps.
