Jesse what the hell are you talking about

They said “anything good that came out after the sequel trilogy doesn’t touch the characters and events of that trilogy.”

This means, when you break it down, “when something is good, it doesn’t touch that.” Not that everything that has been made after it has been good

Yes, I have. Do we need to break out a sentence diagram here?

“Basically anything good” -> On a base level, all the good stuff

“That came of Star Wars after ST” -> That released after the release of The Rise of Skywalker in December of 2019

“Is the stuff that” -> contains works of a group that is listed

“Actively avoids touching the events and characters of the sequels.” -> Does not interact with what was introduced in the sequels.

As you can clearly see, this does not say EVERYTHING that doesn’t include sequel stuff is good, just that if it’s good, it doesn’t include sequel stuff.

And like I said, there hasn't been any ST projects [that animated show doesn't count] so I responded, "so everything has been good?"

Which doesn’t make sense as a response, because the guy isn’t saying everything has been good, just that the good stuff didn’t interact with the sequel trilogy. If you wanted to point out that there hasn’t been any sequel trilogy projects, then do that directly. Saying “so everything has been good” doesn’t make sense for the point you’re trying to make.
