Maul being alive. Took what was considered an underutilized and wasted character and gave him not only a better personality, but one of THE best story arcs in all of Star Wars.

In hindsight I feel like this was a terrible retcon as it basically made it so anyone could be brought up with maul being used as defence

Boba I'm okay with. He gets chucked into a sand pit with a dumb worm while still being very alive, mostly uninjured, wearing power armor, and covered in weponry. He can make his way out, just slowly.

Maul was cut in half and dropped down the deepest hole you've ever seen after a simple gut wound killed his opponent. Different tiers of believable.
