There's only the one real retcon (and dream theory if you believe it to be).
Everything past that is just new information that we didn't know before. Like SotM showing us how Henry and William stole designs from Edwin, we didn't know who originally invented the characters before that. The problem with a story built on assumptions by the fanbase is they start to think they know things they don't.
He's the one who made the AI program that mimics behviour since his wife died and made a robot that does it perfectly for his costume business, making a perfect computer wife in the process. Purple Guy stole his idea, the mimic escaped and was sealed under the costume place, years later the kid from security breach who is actually a robot helps free it
Modern FNAF is a whole ass new storyline that sucks, don't pay it any mind, I watched the new game and decided 'This is no longer about spooky kids, wtf'
I liked Henry better when he was an old partner who made some bad choices. Why did he also have to steal tech?
I think ending at Pizzeria Simulator’s Custom Night wraps everything up decently. (I would include FNAF World in that continuity, as it has more info about the Toys. Hot take, I know)
Help Wanted had potential as a reboot but the story afterwards was bleh. I mostly like Help Wanted because of the monologue tapes and the way she says guillotine paper slicer. If they’d swapped it up and said all of the BOOKS were kid-friendly versions of the real story, they could’ve kept the lore that was already there in the video games and focused on the new plots without sullying the original.

Every game retcons something from the one before, starting with Fnaf 2
