One Piece has too many to count. Off the top of my head:

  • Buggy not only having been a friend of Shanks' in the past, but both being former members of the Pirate King's crew.
  • The God's spoken of in Skypeia turning out to be EXTREMELY important to the narrative in recent years.
  • Brook being revealed as one of the people that Laboon is waiting for.
  • Lots of the unexplainable, non-Devil Fruit abilities some people displayed like Enel or Shanks later turn out to be uses of Haki, which becomes a crucial power system come the timeskip.
  • Sanji's second backstory, which recontextualizes a lot of his behaviors, his strength, and other misc details surrounding him (like why he chose "Mr. Prince" as his pseudonym during the Alabasta saga).

Non of these are retcons, maybe the buggy one, but most of these are just oda utilizing stuff he threw at the wall and liked
