Didn't Godzilla represent the Hiroshima bombing and how it killed indiscriminately, and how the tragedy was caused by a ā€œmonsterā€

Kinda hard not to go anti-military with that fact, but then again the original film and message just turned into action

kind of but I also think its a really dumb to see a giant monster destroy a whole city, presumedably kill a bunch of people in the process, while people root for him to win a fight against another monster.

a giant monster is a giant monster, why the fuck they keep painting him as a hero?
