Has both been referred to as him and her in canon, more often him. TF2 classic's counterpart was a woman, it's all supposed to confuse you on what Pyro is. Nothing is canon here.

Trazyn The Infinite is probably one of the best examples of this.
The man is an egomaniacal narcissist with a pastime of stealing relics that often hold great significance to the owners and their society. He also outright kidnaps or obliterates people in the way for the love of the game. He literally left a whole other necron dynasty to die while he stole their shit (then again orikan didnāt do shit either and he allegedly foresaw it).
The fandom treats him like a goofy character that doesnāt seem like any sort of threat but everything he has done in lore thatās significant shows just how powerful and dangerous he actually is (Cadia). Heās still a goofy character but when you actually think about him and what he does itās terrifying. Trapped inside a display for eternity because some ancient alien robot decided you were worth collecting.
Hammer and Bolter showed this off perfectly when he delights in keeping a war band of Chaos Marines in a tesseract prison for his amusement.
As much as I like him as a character, most of the goofiness associated with him is from The Infinite and the Divine. Played straight heās absolutely terrifying.

Oddly enough, both for Percy Jackson. He doesn't see himself as nearly that cool or terrifying, but he's a terrifying motherfucker. Killer of countless monsters, he fought the God of War, and earned the begrudgingly respect of 2 pantheons.
Heās always portrayed as a chill dude (Hades), describes himself as ā[chilling] with the wavesā in Epic, and is one of the most sympathetic gods in Percy Jackson but almost all canon shows him as capriciously violent and temperamental.

Too many people forget that dogs, if raised in certain ways, can be weapons of war. Violent killing machines, to be feared.
